Who I Am and What I Do

My Journey

    From a young age I knew that there was so much more to life than what we can see and touch. After the death of my mother at the age of 9, I felt a need to be more like her and to help others as a way to honor her memory. At this young age I  had little to no knowledge of the world or how things worked, I found myself seeing my mother and feeling her around me everywhere that he went. Many thought it was just a coping mechanism for a young man who had just lost his mother, but I knew that she was with me always. I had started reading books on psychism and paganism and began to live a more spiritual life, teaching myself to read oracle cards, and meditation.

    As I grew and began to work I tried to find jobs that allowed me to help others. After working a few dead-end jobs at convenience stores and supermarkets I knew I had to find a way to make an impact in the lives of people. I continued studying paganism, meditation, and started to study herbalism, candle making, oil mixing, and the making of different hand, body, and facial scrubs in my free time and found that I enjoyed giving massages to my friends. So I  decided to turn these interests into a profession and in May 2015 attended the Harris School of Business Massage Therapy program. I graduated the following January with a GPA of 3.67 and right out of school I was employed as a Licensed Massage Therapist. 

    While working I began to study the art of Reiki healing, and in 2017 received his Reiki Mastery. In 2018, I decided to deepen my understanding of the human body and became a certified Medical Massage Practitioner and shortly after officially opened A Touch of Healing Massage therapy & Reiki. I continue to expand my  repertoire of therapeutic techniques to better serve the public, with a focus on treating the entire person. I offer a variety of services spanning from relaxing Swedish Massage to Therapeutic Massage, Guided Meditation Sessions, Intuitive Card Readings, and Reiki. 

    Now only a short while later and studying to become certified herbalist, while also taking college courses to become an Osteopathic Doctor, I felt the need for change. Which brings us to today, June 7th, 2019 my 29th birthday and A Touch of Healing Massage Therapy & Reiki being reborn. I am truly dedicated to bringing healing to my clients mind, body, and spirit, and I can't wait to get started.
